General Instruction for the Parents & Guardians

Parents are requested not to enter inside classrooms to see their children or teachers during school hours.
Parents are required to inform the school office any change in their address, telephone numbers and other relevant information, immediately.
Children, when sick, should not be sent to school to attend classes. The parents cannot hold the institution responsible for any claim arising through illness and accident.
Parents’ attention is drawn to the fact that criticism of the school or teacher in the presence of a child should be strictly avoided, because it causes the students to lose respect for their teachers with consequent failure to learn from them and retard their progress.
Parents should sign the progress report card and return it to the class teacher on the next working day.
The name, admission no., class, section etc. of the pupil should be clearly marked on all belongings of the students.
Parents are required to co-operate with the school in its attempt to help their children progress by paying attention to their attendance, punctuality and discipline and to take interest in their child’s work. They should check the School Diary every day. They are advised to check the bags of their wards to see if any circular / notice / invitation etc. has been issued. Parents are also requested to acknowledge the communication sheet in the School Diary by signing.
Students are expected to take care of all school property and in case of any damage, it will be made good by the concerned student together with a fine imposed for the offence.
Students are advised not to bring any cash to the school. They must not bring valuable articles for e.g. mobile phone, expensive watch, fountain pen, transistor, electronic gadget, camera, calculator or jewellery to school. In case of loss of valuables or other articles, the authorities will try their best to trace out the items but shall not undertake any responsibility for the loss or replacement.
The ward, whose parents avoid meeting the authorities when advised to do so, may not be allowed to attend the classes.
Parents and guardians are requested to read and explain the school rules to their wards.
Strict action will be taken against students using unfair means in examination.
In the event of the student missing his assessment due to his absence from school, there shall be no re–assessment for the student.
To keep our School campus clean and plastic-free, all parents are requested not to send or bring articles like tiffin, stationery, craft articles etc. to school in polythene bags.
The school lays great emphasis on discipline. The following are regarded as a breach of school discipline:
slackness, disobedience and disregard of the rules
Lack of good manners, words or actions likely to lower the image of the school
The school reserves the right to expel students whose diligence or progress in studies is considered unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students. Immorality, insubordination or contempt of authority and causing damage to school property are always sufficient reasons for punitive action to be taken immediately by the school authority.
This is Parents’ duty to check their ward’s Almanac daily and see that the lessons are prepared and assigned homework done. Failure to do so may put the child in great inconvenience. Kindly acknowledge the homework in the school Almanac at a daily basis.
Parents and guardians are requested not to visit their ward or the teachers in the classrooms. They can only meet the teachers with them prior appointment to avoid any kind of disturbance and inconvenience to the teachers or students.
Criticism of a student, teachers or the school in the presence of the child should be avoided as it is likely to harm him/her and cast a negative impact on the students. (If there is any grievance/ complaint / suggestion, kindly contact the Principal)
Parents are requested to attend parent-teachers meeting at a regular basis.
Class assessment and home assignments should be duly signed and acknowledged by the parents. As there is a range of activities conducted in the school, please go through the Almanac at an everyday basis to see the notes/circulars given by the class teacher.
Students must bring proper lunch i.e. nutritious food in the lunch box.
Verbal message through the child will not be entertained. For any communication, please call the front office desk or mention in the school Almanac to be shown to the class teacher.
Students who are sick should not be sent to the school to attend classes, kindly hold back the child till the complete recovery of your ward. Please get the vaccinations put against the contagious diseases.
Taking your ward out from the classes for any social functions is not recommended, because it hampers and affects your child’s progress. The students will be permitted to go early before the school hours except for a medical reason.
Parents are requested to notify the school of any change in student’s profile. Please ensure that the students should not miss the school for a longer period on account of recreational trips/reasons as it accounts to an academic loss of the student.
Please send paper soap /sanitizer with your ward everyday along with a washed napkin to avoid infection and ailments.

Parent Teacher Meeting

It is mandatory for all parents to be present for parent – teachers meetings to know about the child’s progress in the school. Maximum co – operation is required from your side at home and at school to help the all round development of the students.

To work for the improvement of the school with the united efforts of the parents and school authorities.

To help parents and teachers acquire new knowledge and new skills for the guidance of the children.

General Instruction / Guidelines for Students

You should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all school days and on all occasions or functions organized by the school.
Pupils who are not properly dressed and whose general appearance does not confirm to such regulations as the school prescribes, may be sent back home by the Principal.
It is strictly forbidden to throw anything out of place and at anyone.
No shouting or whistling is allowed in the school premises.
It is necessary that pupils must obey the monitor appointed by the class teacher to maintain discipline during his/her absence from the class.
You must not bring any sharp instrument to the school.
The school will not be responsible for loss of books, money and other valuables brought by you to the school. However, every effort will be made to recover the things lost, if reported to the Class teacher or the Principal immediately.
You must take care of your school property. No student should scratch or spoil any school furniture, or write or draw lines on the walls or in any other manner damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident, either by you or by any one else, should be reported at once to the Class Teacher or to the Principal. Any damage done will have to be made good either individually or collectively.
It is compulsory for all children to converse in English as the CBSE syllabus stresses on student competence to speak confidently and fluently in English. A student must speak in decent language at all the time. He must ensure that his speech is courteous and polite. No student should participate in any kind of rumour spreading and should refrain from speaking ill about others.
Any communication sent from the school be conveyed to the parents promptly. Parents must
meet the teachers by prior appointments and with the permission of the principal only.
No child who is suffering from any infectious disease will be allowed to9 attend the school until he/she is free from the infection.
The name, class and section of the pupil should be clearly marked on all his /her belongings.
Do not send expensive gifts and sweets on birthday or any other festivals.
The principal has full authority to refuse admission to a child and give transfer certificate to existing students on disciplinary charges.
A student must extend due courtesy and respect to all members of staff. Respect for elders and affection for juniors should be soundly inculcated. Refinement in behavior should distinguish every pupil of the school. Every child is expected to uphold the name and honour to school.
You are expected to be polite, courteous, respectful and well disciplined inside and outside of school.
